Were the cases really short in the headspace dimension for the first firing?

When you did FL size how far did you push back the shoulders?

FWIW I just measured a few new Nosler 25-06 cases and they for sure were not short, in fact they were 2-3thou longer at the shoulder than I typically size to. I usually bump the shoulder .002, but that is just my chamber.

Nosler is pathetic! They charged $116 for 25pieces of 325wsm brass. The same Nosler brass was $84
sold by Natchez. They have absolutely no intention of honoring the lower price- often a courtesy most businesses offer. Sad but true. Now I’ll only use their products if it’s something I need that no one has, and will post my poor experience on the internet.
Although there is absolutely nothing I will ever need from them. Farewell Nosler, price gouging is a big slap in the face to its customers.

Early Nosler brass was usually pretty good but I have not and will not buy brass of their own manufacture. At its price point its way over priced and quality is suspect.

Of course I was able to find some crappy early stuff. The 308 and 270 ones I got were pretty darn soft, and the necks weren't very concentric either.
