We have grand babies tonight, take them to get haircuts tomorrow, then meet son and wife for lunch, hand them off. I’ll probably work on pig catching pen tomorrow afternoon, dancing tomorrow night, church, work on pig pen tomorrow afternoon.

Taking a 4 day weekend. Been a long time I took time off of work for me. So I'll be working around the house and property.

Removing trees, cleaning ditches, cleaning the garage, etc

Got invited to run the hills with a guy I met while out bear hunting last fall. We both have spring bear tags but I have no freezer space. It'd be fun to get out but there's a ton of snow up high and no bears yet. Not sure if I want to invest the time yet.

Hanco: Did a distant gunshop this morning then headed back home for the afternoon start of a three day gunshow here in my hometown.
Did well both places.
Movie tonight.
Gunshow tomorrow and Sunday - raining hard now and no chance for Varminting the rest of this weekend.

Mostly recovering from 2 days of rain. Get out and pick up any downed limbs. Record cold high temps they say. Would be nice to go to a good gun show without driving over an hour.

Working out tomorrow morning, dinner with friends tomorrow night. Then Sunday morning I’m killing that long bearded son of a bitching Mississippi gobbler that outsmarted me yesterday. I have plans for him!

Well I worked 12's all week. Mowed 1 1/2 acres yesterday when I got home @ 1300.
Had plans to scope Mrs. Featherweights new to her Kimber .257 with Warne bases and QD rings. Then head to the range and work up a load with 120 gr, Speer Grand Slams.
Got down to the shop and stated to mount the bases and the front one does not have the radius milled into it. Just flat on the bottom, WTH. Oh well sent off an E-mail to Warne requesting a proper front base.
Change plans to working up a 165 grain GS load for a 30-06 I've never shot. and sighting in a 243. At least I can go shoot something.
Kinda stinks as I was really looking fwd. to shooting the Kimber .257 Bob. Oh well it beats working.

Built a dozen protein feeder brackets a little while ago for a friend. I hadn’t planned on that.

Got a new shelter setup a couple hours ago. At home now enjoying a beer and hoping the phone doesn't ring...
