I have heard that their higher end rifle scopes are made by Meopta. Don't know about the cheapies. Was also wondering if anyone knew who made their better spotting scopes?

I was told by a Cabela's rep that Pentax made my Alaskan Guide 4.5-14x44.

The cheep ones are junk and the higher end ones are priced to the point you can buy a name brand for the same money. If I were spending 300+ I would buy a Leupold or Nikon.......

i bought a pineridge scope from them about 2 yrs ago for my .17hmr and promply sent it back. on anything over 16x if you so much as twitched your eye i got a complete white out. i was going to try to let them send me a new one but they were on a 2 month backorder then. since then i placed one of my 3200 elites on the .17hmr and have never looked back.
