OP tbear99 Campfire Outfitter T Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 8,625 UPSTATE NY	well from my reading you rebarrel for 270 and i'm planning on contacting hart barrels about an hour away to make a barrel and to install.The part i'm not sure is i want it to look like a natural everyday 99 so i have to talk to them but i believe they will do it.I have to acquire another 300 the 2 i have one was grandpa's and the other just shoots soo damn good i couldn't think of the conversion on it.I should post pics of them so you guys can tell me what mod's they are DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR I LOVE MY COUNTRY IT'S THE GOV'T I FEAR

Then putting money into a 270 Savage barrel won't affect the original rifle. And with the way prices are climbing the original rifle will probably increase in value in 5 years enough to cover the barrel price.
