JJHACK: Thank you for the e-mail. I read your attachment. I had considerable difficulty understanding how any adult human could behave in such a callous and selfish way. Hunter One needs resocialization as a decent human being first. Then maybe other training might begin to make some positive changes in his behavior. Hunter TWO is just ignorant; there is a chance, given proper example and guidance, that he'll mature. Meanwhile, I'm glad that I've met such folk only on paper. Your tale is also a warning that each of us has the obligation to act decently, humanely and ethically, especially on the range and in the field. We owe this to the game, to the sport, to our brothers and sisters in the field and to ourselves.

Well, thanks to Dave, I read that sad tale. I'll be charitable and say that in the case of hunter #2 he's just ignorant and ignorance is cureable. In the case of hunter #1 stupidity is to the bone and short of divine intervention uncureable.
