Good news, folks. He was released today. Thanks all for the kind words and prayers. They are much appreciated.

Here are some pics:

This was Saturday morning. He's feeling better, but still obviously sick.

Mama stayed with him all weekend, except when I relieved her so she could run home and shower.

That little scab, and he could have died! I'm still shocked.

Thats great news! Glad to see the little guy is doing better, we will continue to pray for him.

A friend of mine once developed a serious infection from a mosquito bite! It became seriously infected and the doctors figured it might have previously bit a dirty animal or host. Antibiotics were given to bring it under control.

Sheeeitt! Can't imagine how scary that was Rick, didn't even know you were having those troubles, hope they have passed for good.

All this time I thought your best work was making those cool looking stocks. Sandbagger, your best work is making fine looking little men, he's a jewel, course it looks like Mom's gene pool didn't hurt that cause any. What a fine looking family Rick Bin, you one of the lucky ones. 1ak

The best possible news, I'm sure you and Mom are greatly relieved and looking forward to seeing him up on his feet and your life getting back to normal again.

There's nothing that touches a parents heart and will bring us to our knees in prayer as quickly as a sick, injured, or troubled child, regardless if the child is ours or someone else's.

Mine are 33 yrs, 30yrs, and 25yrs old so needless to say I've been on my knees more than a few times. .......joken2

That is such good news. That release of tension for Mom and Dad is so sweet when news like this happens. I empathize(?) with what you've been going thru. Glad to hear it is over. Take care and God bless.

Great news, Rick! Makes all your other problems pale a bit by comparison, don't it!

Amen!! Glad to here the good news.
It never seems fair when a child suffers.
Hope he is following Daddy around ASAP.
Our children make us want to live forever.
