I have a 229R with a DAK trigger and I love it.
You absoluely carry with a round chambered. There is no decocker or manual safety. The hammer follows the slide but stops at a slightly less than "half cock" position. It has a firing pin safety in the slide.
The trigger is very nice and smooth
For concealed carry I think I would look at the 229 SAS. My wife has a 239 SAS in .40, but it is a big gun for only a 7 round magazine.
If you go to Sig Forum (
www.sigforum.com) there is a lot of information on DAK guns.
