Man, the ex-wife must be coming back for more money, you usually get cranky about that.

Seafire,
I appreciate it, but please don't get caught up in this. Though I will see you this weekend. Jesus didn't say for you to blow Seafire.

First, Blaine - thank you for your service to our country.
The same to Steelhead.
Besides krp's wise words, I'll add this. If you have a disagreement with somebody, it's better to stick to the issue at hand, even if you're getting personally attacked, and not make it personal. It's easier to get things solved that way, and you gain respect when people see you're maintaining control of your emotions.
Bringing up a opponent's family tragedy in the course of a debate, even in a heated debate is pretty mind-boggling to me. I can't remember ever seeing anyone, in any argument, do such a thing. It's not as mind boggling as repeatedly (for years) attacking one's faith, trashing ones threads, and being continually insulting. I've been upset and offended for years that our southern border is uncontrolled and our so-called public servants play games with our nation's security. By your logic it would okay for me to take a crap on the White house Lawn. If I did I'd look pretty damn foolish.

I'm thinking fruit might be something of an indicator though. We'd all better take stock.
Ignorant, no. Speculation, certainly.
Saying "I'm sorry" isn't conditional on acceptance if you truly mean it. Fruit is an indicator, but watching a soldier in the midst of a battle might lead you the wrong conclusion................ In this, we ain't soldiers, and this ain't battle. Anyway, good luck to you.

A Newfie calls up the Salvation Army and says, " do you save bad women"
The person on the other end says, "yes we do"
"Great" says the Newfie, "save me one for Friday night!"

Yes, if you were concerned about looking foolish, you wouldn't engage the way I have. It is a doubled edged sword.
Proverbs 26:
4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly, or you will be like him yourself.
5 Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes.

Seafire,

Hey Seafire, why don'tcha ask Blaine about his comments regarding Scott's murdered sister (or go read them for yourself) before you defend his honor (or lack thereof).

Tough day installing a new boiler and having to run PVC pipe through finished walls for the vent and combustion air. Had to glue the pipe together and had to get into some pretty tight areas with the little primer and glue cans.
Even spilled a little glue and at one point had to stick my head down between floorboards to fish pipe up to where I could glue more parts on.
Suddenly about 3:00 this afternoon I realized I was higher than HG's headlights. Sat down in the big leather recliner and woke up a couple hours later with a raging headache and a few questions about who and where I was...

Why don'tcha add up all the times Steelhead has been rudely insulting in most belittling way to all the people he's done that to. You'll notice a commonality, and it ain't the people he's going after..............

You just can't win. Why do you even want to keep trying?

Good point, though I gave the benefit of the doubt and assumed Scott was rational. That may have been an error...........

Art What's the name of that glue? Blaine must have cases of it laying around.
