What is going to happen to the price of Swarovski EL binoculars after January 1? They are about $200 less now than a year ago but I read where they are making changes to the new EL. Will the ones dealers still have left go down in price even more ?

Swaro may likely have taken the next giant step in binocular design... reputed to be perfectly sharp right to the margins.
I'll be interested when they bring out the 8x32's the following year...

Really? why do you think that is? From what I've heard, a look through the new Swarovisions will nearly make all other bins seem 2nd rate... just the gossip on the bird forum by those that have tested them. Also, I noticed BR Ultravids drop in price when the HD's appeared... I honestly can't see the difference, the only real difference is the HD has a hdrophobic coating. We shall see.
