Don't sweat it Tom, I've got 2 416's and a 458 and he won't post the vaporware for me, so don't hold your breath.

Besides, it's not that anyone didn't ask politely to begin with for him to post them, and it's not that he didn't make the offer to do just that two years ago. It's the fact that he realized that there were people who knew that no way in hell could he post a picture of that rifle because it doesn't exist, which is why after two years, he still hasn't done it.

It's a pattern with him, just like he'll get on here and tell everyone that I've yet to provide my sources for the info, or Sean hasn't posted his. He'll ignore the fact that I've been doing business with Winchester since 1992 and during the course of that business, would have no idea as to what or when they produced rifles. He'll further ignore that if his rifle would have been made in the timeframe that he claims, it would have my bottom metal on it without a doubt.

Of course none of this means squat to us mere peons, since he says its so and we wouldn't even know what we were looking at if he posted the picture anyway.

At this point his vapor70 is somewhere along the grand canyon trail and a picture of either has the same likelihood of appearing on this forum or any other.

Now that I've mentioned the Grand Canyon, he'll ask me if I've ever hiked it, at which time I'll HONESTLY say no, but have gone there and seen it. That will be when I have no idea what I'm talking about and I'm not knowledgable enough about the subject to even know what state it's in, even though I lived there for a couple of years.

I guess all we'll be able to argue about now is 100lb dumbells, though recently I've seen them much larger than that and holding catfish.........
