OK LeRoy save at least one for me from these guys... ingwe, you and les can camp on the perimeter and snore up a storm to make sure the chupacabras stay away..  but the moose might make amorous advances on you two.... Just saw it's first come, first serve. With the numbers planning to attend, we may have to spill over into other campgrounds? Or can we get away with setting up a tent or two by the lodge?

i agree and say yah should set one up but at this point its mainly the MT, WY, and CO guys looking at this thread.....a thread of your own should hold the best chance of success.....

You will have a million or so acres to use at your pleasure. Only spots that might actually need reserved are the campgrounds (depends on the campground, never actually stayed in one). No laws against going down the road and throwing up a tent.

Whip I don't think we wilol have a problem that time of year. Also there are several campgrounds in the area. But was wyoelk says there are few restrictions. During elk season it looks like a tent city up there.

ok thanks. Is anyone planning on camping? tom Several are. The campground is fairly close to the lodge. Just across the creek Keith, I'm just guessing, but me and Danny are prolly camping too...don't want to inflict my snoring on decent folks.. Don't want to inflict Danny on ANYBODY ...  Ingwe Hmmmm. Being how noobdy is grabbing bunks yet... Put me down for one  PM me with details for where to send the funds. If something comes up last minute, I'll donate my bunk to my illegitiment Uncle Ingwe. I'll try to park my trailer by the crew quarters also. Has anyone been to this place? Is there room for trailers in the grounds around the crew quarters?

We may or may not be able to do that after reading the USFS website. They accomdate 3 vehicles there, BUT we will work something out! gotlost & wyoelk have been by there I beleive.

Anyone close to Hot springs South Dakota, Wanna car pool..!!
Im camping, or back of truck, dnow yet. might have a trailer by then. !! any one comeing down early from north east wants to stop in hot springs give me a call i dont have much room here but theres koa and other camps here i gotta find out when sturgis is cause it might be busy round here at that time k
