I'll see what I can do but it's likely the same week as our car show, unless the guys plan on doing it a week later this year.

Wouldn't be that big of a deal for me to skip but my daughter has a 65 mustang now that she'll want to bring to that show.

I assume you responded to my first post in this thread. It has evolved into a weekend meet and greet at Jack Creek near Saratoga. Jun 11, 12 & 13

Looks like I won't be able to make it this time. I just found out the Linebaugh Shoot is the same weekend.

Northern Dave and Tracks, or any other bikers for that matter -- it should be good but if there is snow or mud on the road near the end of the trail, I'll send you a cell no. (providing we have service up there) and would be happy to come down the hill in a pickup to get you. It'll be plumb easy to get into Saratoga on a bike in June, I can't vouch for the dirt roads though. I'd hate to see someone ride a bike all the way then not be able to make the last ten miles.

I got my Ol' Lady's Exploder stuck up around Rob Roy last June briefly, there was just that one little drift on a lot of good road, but that's all it would of taken to been the end of the line for a motorcycle (well the road kind anyways).

A couple of questions for the Wyomingites.

What's the road like (220/287) in the summer between Casper an Rawlins?

I could take Route 287 from Helena to Rawlins. What's the route like in the summer in Wyoming?

Route 287 from Helena to Rawlins to Saratoga is about 570 miles. I think I can do that in a day. Day light savings time and all.

Thanks.

Which route are you talking about 220 or 287?

I'm thinking of using 287 as it's a direct shot to Rawlins.

I know that Route 287 from Helena to Ennis is a good route. Helena to Three Forks can be tough with all the nuts...er....I mean people going to work. From Three Forks to Ennis should be a piece of cake. From Ennis to Rawlins is what I don't know about.

Saratoga is less than 2 hours from me. Where is Jack Creek?

The only Jack Creek I could find on the net was up near Cody somewhere.

Either....220 out of Casper intersects 287 at Muddy Gap. 287 comes out of Lander. How far are you from I90? I would take I 90 to I 25 down to Casper, then 220 over to 287. YMMV

I don't have a MT map in front of me. I have heard of Ennis, just not sure where it is.
