Rest assured that things will be under control as my wife will be there and she's a Celtic Lady who swings a mean claymore. grin

Hey Elkhunter, do you think 2K .22lr will be enough ammo for the Ruger/Kidd 10/22?

DD:

Why do you use a .22 L/R instead of a .22mag? I use that Remington Premier .22mag because I like to see flying body parts and because it has twice the range and I can still shoot all day for pocket change.

Because I had a 22lr Ruger 10/22 30 years ago and there was no .22WMR 10/22's back than.

I wore the Ruger out so I had it rebuilt into the Ruger/Kidd .22lr. I shoot off the bench most of the time so it works just fine. I thought I'd bring it because it has a two stage match trigger and I figure a few of you would like to try it out if you promise not to break my $1,000 10/22. grin

I still have the Marlin model 25 that I bought at Sears for $27 when I was a teenager. I still use it ocasionally when the targets are within 50 yards. Brings back some good memories from my youth.

Finally starting to get some in stock here. Hopefully the panic buying is slowing down.

Still a lot of empty shelves in the ammo aisles here and what's on the shelves is mostly junk, so I've been ordering some of my ammo from Cabelas. It's been back ordered but it usually shows up in a few weeks. I figure that Cabelas is a big commercial customer of the suppliers and they want to keep them happy so maybe they fill Cabelas' orders first.

If your wife meets my wife, we could be in for some trouble.
