but I was wondering the interest and feasibility of a take off barrel swap on the forum here..

I have a couple of barrels that I will probably not use, but doing a barrel swap with someone, would potentially be a lot cheaper than selling the firearm and purchasing another.. plus a lot less paperwork and paper trail, to catch the attention of our Federal Gun Grabbers...

So at the moment, I'll start out with having a 22 inch Rem ADL barrel chambered in 243, with a couple of hundred rounds down the barrel and that is it..

would be interested in another Rem barrel or potentially a Savage or Stevens take off barrel...

thought I'd start here and see how this goes.. have other barrels I'll never use..

I'm looking for a 25 cal. for a Savage switch barrel I want to do.
and have a nice Lilja SS 26" chambered for 25/284 that I considered using but change my mind.
So, if interested in my Lilja let me know what you have in a 25 cal. at least 26".
My Savage has a fluted 26" SS 9 twist factory barrel finished at .730 muzzle diam., and I would like to stay at that profile, but can turn if I need to.
I also want to get a bolt for the Savage long action, prefer with .473 face.

I have a new unfired stainless take off Ti barrel in 30-06 that I'd like to trade for the same in 270 Win.

I would also trade for the same from a stainless Mountain Rifle. (I "think" they're basically the same barrel?)

Sorry, I'm not interested in selling, as I'll build it as a 30-06 if I can't find a 270 barrel.

Got a 300WSM SS take-off from a M700. Looking for a SS .280 Rem bbl - M70 or M700.

I have a couple, Douglas in 280 for a LR Mauser, and a Model70 pushfeed in 270 feathweight. Would like a 7-08 or 308 for the Winchester. 7X57 or a decent 8x57 for the Mauser military OK if VG bore.

I have a stainless 20in 260 off a seven that I would trade for a 22in stainless 280 mtn barrel for a 700

I have a Savage in 300 WSM (large shank), not looking for anything particular. I do have several LR mausers that are barrelless. I don't need any 30 cal or 270 cal barrels.
A 338 blank or a 338-06 for a Savage would be nice!
I can turn the 300 WSM barrel for a small shank for the right deal.

I have an unfired take-off matte rem 700 barrel in .270 and/or a 338-06 pac-nor tube with flutes threaded for a CZ action. Would like to have a LR mauser sporter barrel (open to chambering) or a 700 mtn rifle contour barrel in 25-06...

This will be a long shot, but I have a 24 inch sporter contour stainless 300 SAUM takeoff with about 30 rounds down the tube. I would like to trade for a stainless Mt. Rifle contour takeoff in .243 Win. I am also willing to just sell the barrel outright, so PM me if you are interested.

Bump to keep a good post going. I have some 8mm Mauser barrels with good bores if anyone needs one you can have them for shipping cost. I also have a 7mm rem mag take off for shipping cost.
