As far as blueprinting, this one is pretty boring, just a 1957 model 70 fwt .270 barreled action, wearing a 4x leupy dropped in a custom stock by Jim Kobe. I've already showed off my synthetic rifles, thought I'd show some wood.

So what does it weigh? I am thinking 8 1/4# bare. My scales were broke at home, I say broke - my cheap butt needs to buy some new batteries but I'm going to weigh it here at work in just a few. Will let you know. UPDATE: weighed on certified scales - 8.5003 lbs

Not really custom but good enough for me; -Howa 1500 stainless barreled action in .308 Win -Bolt fluted by twistedbarrel.com -McMillan Sako Classic with factory pillars installed -70% Olive 20% Black 10% Lt.Grey -Bushnell Elite 3200 3-10 "short action" -Leupold dual dovetail rings and bases (lows) I intended to switch out the barrel, or at least re-crown it, but the factory tube is shooting consistent .75 groups. Money saved!

Nice tiger stripe stock. Wonder if they can do that with more than two colors?

Am I seeing things,,,, or is the barrel channel in the stock that poorly matched to the barrel?
