There was a great article on sporterizing the 1903 in the first year of Rifle Magazine. I gave all my old copies away a few years ago, but maybe someone else has a copy.

There are almost no aftermarket parts for the Greek M-S rifles and most of those that I have seen have been in bad shape. Unless the rifle that you have is the rare exception, I'd punt.

I was incorrect in my post the article I mentioned was for a 1988 Commission rifle, not the 1903.
Sorry for the misinformation.
