Never thought about the Kilt. I guess a downhill slide while wearing one of those could have interesting results, plus the skid marks would be telling.

There are some campgrounds at lower elevation that we should be able to get into. I'm hopping to get over to Saratoga next week with hopes of scoping them out. I'm be surprized if I can Get into Jack Creek yet.

I'll have my wall tent and and I heard of at least one other that should be coming along, add Kieth's outfit and we can put together a good camp.

I'll have my wall tent and and I heard of at least one other that should be coming along, add Kieth's outfit and we can put together a good camp. If someone wants a tent to sleep in I have an extra 12X14 and a spare stove. Let me know if it's wanted.

That would be 300 yds west of the Crew Quarters. That reminds me, There aren't Grizzlies in the area, however there are moose, for those that are not from the area give cow's with calf's at thier side plenty of disdince. unless you enjoy being stompped on until you're a bloody mass.

Saratoga, Riverside/encampment(southeast) Hog Park is south of there. http://mesowest.utah.edu/cgi-bin/droman/meso_base.cgi?stn=OLDW4&product=&time=LOCAL The old Battle snotel is on the con. divide south of there. the snow depth is snow pack not total snow fall. I talked with a guy who bear baits over that way, he thinks we should be OK to get into the Crew Quarters.
