Well the weather finally cleared and got warm enough to go to the range and shoot. I'm happy to report as of this minute the Kidd/Ruger 10/22 is performing flawlessly even if it is dirty. I'm going to try for another range session Monday. I now have it sighted in for fifty yards. I plan on bringing it so that Elkhuter has something to play with. Not often one gets to play with a $1,000 .22lr. Of course, if anybody breaks it.......

A couple of months ago, I bought a new T/C Icon Precision Hunter .223. I've got it sighted in pretty good and it shoots 1/2 MOA. I hope we can find some grass rats that we can "Chastise even unto death". I'm also bringing a .22mag for closer ranges.

i might be +1 or +3.....depends on some things......i and my wife for sure but my brother is bout 90% committed depends on what he has lined up at work on that particular week and our oldest might tag along but she is planning on taking some college courses over the summer to get a head start so she might be staying home....any lodging over my wife and myself we will work out......Sam is happy with a chunk of floor or the back of the truck if need be  ranger1 might be coming with me aswell, least he mentioned he might want to split gas for the trip, havent chatted with him lately....

Well I was out with the 10/22 Ruger/Kidd yesterday at the range all systems look to be a go.
Boy I can say one thing for certain if one wants a walk about gopher .22lr Ruger stay with the light configuration. This is one heck of a bench shooter but a tough rifle for off hand shooting. One has to let the rifle go by the target and shoot a couple of rounds on the way by and hope you hit something. At almost nine pounds it's a tough rifle to hold very steady.
