Can't promise, but I'm going to try to stop on the way out by Rand and cut some. Decided to bring my trailer so I will have some room

Les mentioned he was bringing some too. I have a Coleman grill/outdoor fireplace with a screen that we can use.

I've not been to Jack Creek, but I'm guessing that if it is like the Peak, or the Snowies, with the pine beetle problem, that there is tons of firewood somewhere nearby -- Got lost or some of you guys that have been up there, is this right?

gotlost has been up there. This will be my first trip to that neck of the woods. I am sure there is beetle kill there too.

Sounds like we will have plenty of food. I will have a couple of cases of bottled water in a cooler on ice too.

JACK CREEK is out and all reservations have been cansuled until the 17th of June.
The road into South Brush Creek is still closed with the chance that it will be open.

One of my other options is still close with a good chance of being opened but, places to camp in that area are at a premim and we could have a hard time getting everyone in.

I've got a call into Keith to look at our options.

Right now the weather and roads are like they would be in April.

The FoxPark area looks good. Miller Lake Campground may be open. It depends on whether the Forest Service got all the beetle killed trees down. We also drove the road to Pelton Creek Campground last week and there are lots of places for a large entourage. Pelton Creek campground is closed, though, due to beetle kill.

What's the Riverside/Encampment? Possibilities?

I'm staying in a motel. We could all try to fit in my motel room but I really don't think that's an option if for no other reason than my wife would probably divorce me. grin

My extra tent can sleep four with ease, five is getting crowded, and six would be stepping on each other. I can make room in my tent for a couple if they don't mind snoring
I have a clean fifty gallon water barrel I can load on, but if I do I'll need help with it when I get there. (somebody let me know if it's needed).
I can bring at least twenty gallons in five gallon containers
Wondering If a tent stove might be needed for heat. I can bring a couple along if needed.
