I can't report on the mountains but Kansas has had significant water all year, just short of flooding. Millions of acres.There is going to be some hellacious aspen groves in twenty years If God wanted you to walk and carry things on your back, He would not have invented stirrups and pack saddles

KC Campfire Tracker Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 6,969 Colorado Springs, Colorado USA	The Colorado mountains are getting a good amount of rain. Ther was a good snow pack to water the tundra above timberline. KC Wind in my hair, Sun on my face, I gazed at the wide open spaces, And I was at home.

Got me fired up! You only live once, but...if you do it right, once is enough.

Unfortunately, if it turns out like last year's big green-up, things are about to turn really crunchy up high in the next month or so. Last year was like walking around on rice krispies come bow season. No good way to avoid it.
