KC, I forgot to mention that about 3 weeks after the deal, a tree blew down right where your camper was parked.

A couple of weeks after that, another blew down right where Don's truck had been parked.

By removing all the beetle killed trees, there isn't as much of a windbreak to stop the wind from blowing down the live ones!

Got firewood? grin

I agree maybe later in the year to fit as many of us as possible. Jacks Creek sounds fun to me!

I will have to think of a meal to top the last ones we had though! Going to be tough considering the cooks we had! WIth the gumbo, DO pizza, sausage gravy and biscuits and the awesome green chili!

Cheyenne:

I seem to remember there were some participants that were falling down too. Maybe that tree had too much to drink?

I'm not positive but I might have to take responsibility for this happening. Partly?

Friday night before I rode back to my camp I took a pizz on that tree. My pizz at that point could have been toxic. Lotsa different alchyhol goin' around that night that I consumed. I dunno. Maybe. If my bad, send me a bill

I thought I recalled that you did AC. Who needed AC?

They have had a couple of bear incidents the last few weeks. About a week ago a bear hit a barbecue grill about 300 yards away. One of the guys who has lived in the area full time said it was his first recollection of bears in the hood. There also was a mountain lion sighting near Mountain Home a few weeks ago. I may have to get a bear license and so I can archery hunt off the back porch.

Heating, A/C, controls.... cabin just up the road with heating problems they wanted fixed before winter. Was a nice break from fixing broken air conditioners.

Hadn't heard. Let me know. We got back last night. I know there was one south of the border a couple of weeks ago.

The forest service has been doing a great job clearing breaks, but I'm not sure they could stop one.

Fire is at Lake Creek and getting big. People from Wold were at Ticks loading stuff pretty fast. They evac people out of Foxboro. Fire is moving NE at the present.

Might want to call someone you know up there and get the real info. We have been fed a bunch of bad info tonight so I am passing on only what I saw.
