We each tagged out at 2 antelope apiece. I stuck a bull elk with an arrow that we could not recover. That was a real low point of the week.

Good to hear things are falling in place for you Don. Went through much the same thing about twelve years ago moved into a cinder block hut and managed a sheep/grain operation and started colts to even out finances. The good Lord do open doors for you. Cut some firewood for that tipi!!!

The worst part is that I had convinced a cow elk at 5 yards that I was not a threat, and the bull trailed her to the same point. The guy who was calling 50 yards behind me said it looked like I had kicked it in the balls, and that was my assessment as well. But, we followed the blood trail a long way before it petered out.

i hope you guys invited Larry so he doesn't feel left out I invited him last year but he declined. Well, it wasn't like he declined. He just didn't show up.  I should clarify that there was a Larry there and he was just another one of the great guys that attended. It was that other "Larry" that didn't show.
