Hello New to this forum, I am trying to get some info on a model 99 savage 250-3000. I got it for a birthday present when I was 12(24 years ago) just currious what it is worth. serial number is 2652xx.The serial number is also duplicated in the forend.... any info would be much appreciated. I will post pics as soon as I find the cord to my camera....thanks

Smokin', That'a an early 99F but it has been "shopped" with additions and reblueing so it's going to be worth more to you to keep it. I'll bet it's a good shooter.
Everything you now do is something you have chosen to do. Some people don't want to believe that. But if you're over age twenty-one, your life is what you're making of it. To change your life, you need to change your priorities.
The lever looks to be reblued. It was originally case hardened. Original also had a steel buttplate, was not drilled for the scope and did not have a sling. I didn't look at all the pics, but there is a splinter of wood missing off the forearm, too. These are just some obvious things that are not original. They don't change the fact that you have a perfectly good hunting rifle in a nice looking configuration.
