They'd have a better chance of grouping because they wouldn't be as likely to be sub-sonic. Lapua publishes a .508 G7 BC for the 155 scenar. My testing puts it closer to .490. My bet is(without looking at JBM) is the 155 out of a .308 will be supersonic farther than a 180CL easily in a 30/06 and probably a .300WM..

Have you had any sucess with the 155 at 300WM velocities?
In the 3200+ neighborhood.
I've just started with them in my 300WM but haven't found decent accuracy yet at that speed.

The 180CL has a BC of .383, per Quicktarget.

The 180CL has a BC of .383 Not to interrupt the debate, but...dang. .383 for a 180gr .30 cal? That's getting down close to the BC on my daughter's Rubik's Cube.

BC only amounts to something on glossy pages. In real life it means almost nothing.
You guys are so naive, I feel sad for you. Being wet behind the ears has gotta suck. Maybe dad needs to take you to the range and let you shoot the .22 more.
