We'll have to wait for his shift to end at the convenience store to get a retort!

MCH, Alot of folks seem upset that John has "a" component he is keeping secret, when you say you would love to know what makes it a $6000 rifle,I don't see it as just a "Fact Gathering Event" It's more about telling the maker that his parts aren't worth what he is charging, Most builders will let you know the brand of parts they use in their builds, but not all even Kenny Jarrett kept a few secrets, It's amazing that you guys still hound him on his prices, it seems that you need to be reminded that John is selling a "shooting system" , and we know his components don't add up to 6K , we also know that most barrels can be bought for under $400.00, so is the name of the barrel maker holding you up from buying the system...or is it more about the "TRASHING" of his product....Pretty sure I know the answer!

It isn't the barrel or anything else that is holding me up from buying his system. I wouldn't pay that for a system built by anyone. I owned a Jarrett and a few other highend rifles and never again. What I learned was that they didn't perform any better then rifles built for half the price. There are many great rifle smiths out there some well known and others not so known that all do outstanding work for a reasonable price. I have not trashed Johns rifles just stated the fact that for 6K and not knowing what parts you are getting isn't a value in anyway. What accuracy MOA Guarentee does Grey Bull give???? I don't see it stated anywhere. I would think anyone wanting a 6K rifle would like to know what the Guarentee would be. I also think it is of importance to know what parts one is paying for. Maybe it doesn't effect the accuracy of the rifle. What if I personally have issues with one of the companies for whatever reason and don't want to support them in anyway? This is not the case for me but it could be for others and me at some point in time. There are companies out there I refuse to support in anyway because of their support or stance on things. My bottomline about GB is that their 6K rifle isn't going to be 3K plus better then say a rifle built by GAP or others. So if you or anyone else feels that a GB is a good buy for you then so be it, it is your money to spend as you see fit. Mean while I will be laughing.

He's looking for a fat 14 year old to "round out" the collection.

Suppose they come in 6X ?
