I have the feeling that would either be absolutely fantastic, or absolutley disgusting. No inbetween.

I know a certain someone who was prone to make anchovy peanut butter sandwiches when he was in an, ahem, altered state of mind.

Ran into scrapple when I worked in D.C. and rather liked it. Not something you find in stores in rural Iowa. Ran across a recipe for it a couple of years ago and made some of my own. Wasn't bad.

Not hardly.

The words "in my opinion" pretty much rule that out.

I'm not sure I'd want to know the details of that, John, but more power to you! grin

My mother's family is from PA, and I used to eat it when I visited my grandparents. Can't say that I remember it with great fondness, nor was it so bad. Just unremarkable, as best I can recall.

What are you blathering about now,Brent? Try to stay on topic and focus!

Simply inserting the phrase IMO doesn't automatically negate a cause of action for slander or libel. Does all this help you clear your confusion a bit or are you still in the mood to post nonsensical irrelevance?

Let me know if you need more help.

I know Art. I've broken bread with him and his family. There is not a better man on these boards, or elsewhere. If he's guilty of anything it is trying to help someone out that doesn't realize it. Stupidity and sniveling run rampant among those that either want something for (or from) nothing, or are too ignorant to realize the gift granted. Not everyone has the capacity to appreciate gifts given.

Reminds me, I need to buy lunch for the accused. Thanks for the reminder!

I am sure this won't happen, but why don't you all just let this die. Cheese and rice! What good will become of all these posts. Steve

Just you lawyers that seem to think you run the planet. I'd wager Splat is safe as a baby from any of your slander suits. But then wagering against you is probably a crime akin to taking candy from a baby.

Get out in the real world some. You need the experience.

... but like I keep saying, I've got sympathy both ways. I've gotten halfway into recording sessions where it became clear that the end result wasn't going to
meet MY standards, due to the lack of quality of the raw material (the band). It's an ugly feeling. But you gotta just finish up, do your best, deep breath, move on...

Remove bones? Sheeit. Grind'nem bad boys up and toss 'em in for texture. If anyone's has haggis, it's similar in texture, spice content and flavor. And a GD righteous meat product to fix what ails a man. I grew up eating it with eggs, grilled, buttered english, home fries (potato chunks grilled to a golden brown in bacon fat), and a dab of maple syrup for the Scrapple. Step off, arteries; I'm blitzing!

The OP wants his property back, at what point does it become theft?

Apparently never because one of these days he's going to fix it and his pride in showing he can do the job trumps ownership rights.

HIJACKED

I had firm instructions from a buddy in ID from his banker to make absolutely certain I did not arrive in Boise without at least 5 blocks of Scrapple. I could have jacked the price to silver levels, but as he's an east coast transplant, took pity and just said, "I'm going to ask a favor of you some day, paisan..."

Laffin'...I'd wager you don't know your ass from your elbow. What real world are you speaking of; the associate professor's lounge at whatever Community College you're part-timing at now?

I will let you know when I'm ready to leave the fake world of trial litigation for the real world of leotards and interpretive dance, though. I bet you're a hard grader!
