Well practiced long range shooters would do the same. YOu just dont shoot when its not controllable by you, regardless if its 100 yards or 1000 yards. Pretty simple.
Agreed, I've shot in enough conditions, at enough ranges, to know when I can't make a shot...and I know you know your own limitations. Good advice and spot on, the above posts
