My son just hit the sandy turf last week for his first tour in Afghanistan. He did two in Iraq. After this one he's done. He said he's had enough "fun."

Think not for a minute that we Canadians don't appreciate your service on our behalf too. What blows me away is all the military men on 24hour, who themselves have returned from different theaters of conflict in different eras offering congratulations & well-wishes to you, a very recent returnee.
Our best wishes to you, RAS, & all US military men & women from right-thinking Canadians everywhere.

Should we (Canadian and US forces) stay there? If so, for how long? Should the make-up of the forces be as they are? If YOU were in charge - based on what you have seen - what would YOU recommend be done over there?
