Pat...in Va, tradition is such that there is always a huge BBQ cookout after the hunts. Here,although the hunt begins at noon,the action doesn't really kick in till after the 5pm hour. Is Tx tradition similar and will we be planning our typical cookout stuff we do or will we be staying off campus once the hunt/fun is over?

We may have to move a little to fields, but you can bet socializing is the top priority. I wish I could give more details of lodging/gathering facilties but that's not available yet. I'm thinking doves, stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeno, wrapped with bacon and grilled over mesquite. That okay?

Perfect,as is everything I've eaten that you have grilled over a fire.
You and I can do our annual store run for the snacks, sides and whatever else is needed. Great food and top shelf liqour is not even a concern of mine any longer when 24H folks get together.
