My Dad lives near there and wants to hunt but he won't need the lodging. Can a hunter be worked into our group for just a day fee? He would probably also just want to hunt one day and leave. I think 18 years with me was enough.... Travis

I suspect there will be lot's of whitewings, so license fees will be $48 for five day Special Hunting license + $7 for White Wing stamp (for non-residents). I'm sure we can work just about anything out as far as your Dad is concerned, as long as we let them know in advance. The only thing worse than a liberal is a liberal that thinks they're a conservative.

That will give me an excuse to float the Frio one afternoon. Garner State park is nearby also, and is open through Labor Day. We may have to go one night.
