From 8 yards to 370 yards I've had no complaints.

I have used the 180grn interlock for 12+ years in a 300winmag, and for 5-6 in a .257 Roberts. I did have one 117grn interlock not exit a decent 11pt MO whitetail, quartering to shoulder shot 200 yards, dropped on the spot.

While the SST is a pretty soft bullet, the interlock is tough enough and soft enough at the same time, and a better choice than the sst, IME.

Seeing as how we shoot the same bullets in the same cartridges, it sounds like we need to get together & share a beverage some day.

Taken a small number of whitetails with the 130 & 140 gr out a 270. No failures or disappointments of any kind, but for some totally subjective (nice way to say irrational) reason, moved the 270 to a primary diet of Partitions.
However, the Interlock has been my bullet of choice out of my 35 Whelens. Taken a pile of whitetails with the 200 gr. Taken elk, moose, muleys with the 250 gr. I have become completely dazzled with the performance of the 250, so have used it in recent years on whitetails as well.

I've taken more deer with the 130gr-.277 Interlock's than any other bullet. Only recovered 2 boolits that didn't pass thru. Probably 50-60 deer with no complaints. They have also been the most accurate go-to bullet that I've used thus far besides Sierra.

3-5 tons of game sounds about right for what they have put on the ground for me.

Yep. I think its "poor man's partition" but I could be wrong. Same idea either way.

I run 'em in about every rifle I have except my 6-250 because the twist is too slow.

257 100s ROCK, 30 cal 150s & 165s are go-to, 338 cal 200s & 225s, 7mm 139s, 154s, and 175s all shoot well but I haven't had terminal tests yet.

From what I've seen in bullet testing they are by far the best CNCs. I've had great results with the SSTs that I've run as well; only 165s in my '06. They've got the ring, too...

Looks to me like Michigan would be a central meeting spot.

We'll do another gathering later this year. It'd be cool to have some out of staters (even badgers and OSU fans)!

I used the 150grain .308 spire point and boattail in my .308 rifles but only my Savage 99e shot well with them. I tried the 154 grain spire points in my 7mm mag and they were never accurate, even after several powder, primer and seating depth changes. For others the Hornady's work great. Just depends on the rifle.

Excellent cup and core bullet in terms of accuracy and performance on game. In this case a UP whitetail taken with .300 Sav. Penetrated onside shoulder and broke it and ended up under the hide at the back of ribs. Retained 75% of its weight peeling back to the interlock.

I have used them from the 243/6mm rem to the 378 Weatherby on elk. Never a problem. My favorite non-premie go-to bullet.

I have heard that although the BC is not phenomenal on the 100 SP's i 257 cal they are very stout. On deer and antelope I have never recovered one at 3350 fps from my 25-06. I know some people who have used them on Moose with no problems at all.

I like them. Have used the 55gr 22cal, 100gr 243cal, 117gr 257cal, 150gr 30cal, 165gr 30cal, and the 225gr 338cal on game, and haven't been let down. I'd still be using them if my state hadn't gone to the lead ban.

Pretty much what most of you say here, great bullets that work, particularly the 100gr 257. I've had more one shot kills with that bullet out of my 257 than all my other calibers combined. That said, I did have one marginal experience out of my 300 Weatherby and 180 SPs. Shot an impala at 80 yards on the point of the shoulder quartering. Dropped like a stone, but I recovered the bullet in the off side ham weighing 80 gr (far right). That should have gone through and kept going. Had the animal been a kudu, much less an eland, I might have had an issue:

They are great for deer in Minnesota. My son used them last year in his 30-06 and got two bangflops with the 165 boat tails.
I have used them in the 200 gr. version both rn and spire pt and the 250 gr version in the 35 Whelen. They all did a great job.
This year I may try the 225 gr in the 375 H&H Magnum for black bear and deer.

I do like the 165 grain version in my 300 Savage. I don't load it hard and they are always devastating performers that really plow.
