I've had trouble getting all the epoxy out of the inside of the set screw so I heated the tip of the tiny little hex-head screwdriver with a match and it melted right down into the screw head. Didn't stay stuck in there, came right out after adjusting the trigger pull weight.
This is an old thread but, for any newcomers to the M70 M.O.A. trigger, like me...yup--I found that heat helps a lot too. After scraping and prying the blob off the heads with a utility knife and a tiny flathead screwdriver blade, I used a fine-tipped Weller soldering pencil on maximum heat, followed up with the allen wrench to clear the hex head cavities.
PITA! What's wrong with Loctite, BACO/FN?
