I think Art needs to open a line of communication on this and resolve it. I think most people are hesitant to bring law enforcement into a private issue because they may do nothing, or feel like they are wasting the LE's time on a private matter. If there was open communication between the two, I think this would be resolved. I am in complete agreement that this has gone to far and shouldn't be on here, It's a waste of bandwidth. However I can see Splat feeling that its his last course of action before taking it further, and I can see Art not wanting to drag it out in public, but enough is enough. They need to communicate privatly and get it resolved... ok Rant over and you won't see me on this thread again.

Quite frankly - Sean's not sticking up for Art (as those who can't read for content are asserting) as much as he's telling Splat to hike up his skirt and actually do something other than bitch and moan.
Sean's right - he has 2 choices if he feels like he's a victim of theft (regardless as to if he is or isn't) - he can file a police report or do nothing. All the crying in the world here doesn't change those choices.
+1 Whew... For a while there I was beginning to think I was speaking Greek. Thanks for pointing out that at least SOME folks around here can actually read AND comprehend what is written. My comprehension is fine, and anyone with a third grade education knows right from wrong hopefully someday you will figure it out!

Nope, just got what you were whining for; a response.
Learned to read, and comprehend, yet?
If not, ask teal or nsaqam; they've got it down, and both will likely teach you "nicely" so as to not offend your delicate sensibilities. I will admit you whine nicely!

Yep.... and that still doesn't change splat's options, does it?
Oh, wait... there I go again; being mean and direct by point out facts.
He can either:
1) sue, or
2) STFU.
There is no third option for splat to pursue.
Clear enough, or is that "defending" someone again, by simply stating the obvious facts?

Don't know the whole story and don't care to.
But, the fact that some here are trying to justify keeping another man's property that was sent to him in good faith, continually ignoring his requests for the property to be returned are fooling no one but themselves.
All this "I think there is more too it..." laffin.
Let's look at what we do know. The stock was sent for work. There was a difficulty and the owner has repeatedly asked for his property back. No one is denying these facts.
Sitka has said he didn't like Splats attitude, so he has basically kidnapped the man's stock and refuses to return it.
I understand some folks like Sitka, consider him a friend and that is fine, but don't go be a prostitute and try to shove some ridiculous bullchit argument over on the rest of us.
A 6 yr. old knows it's wrong to keep something that doesn't belong to you.
Let them settle it for crying out loud.

This isn't about us, and splat is going to do what he needs to do,but there has always been a 3rd option and if art would man up this thread would die!

It would appear there is no third option.
Thus, splat has to put on some big girl panties and take one of the remaining two.
Does THAT clarify it for you, YET?

Now, along with shipping and handling, we have to figure in attorney fees to recover our property! Sweet

Well, after thirty pages, seems obvious that option three is working.
- out.

If ya had a clue, you'd know what to do.
You don't, as is evidenced by the comment.
Guess what is generally included in said suit for damages? Hint...

The clueless generally remain so, of their own free will.
Continue, as you continue to amuse me for the aforementioned reason.

There were at one time several options available. Unfortunately, and to the detriment of Mr. Peck's perceived character, and to some extent Mr. Splatter's as well, those options no longer exist. At this point the only recourse may be those repeatedly put forth by Sean in this thread.

For or from either side.
Thankfully.

Maybe at this point, the public humiliation of Mr. Peck is more important to Mr. Splatter than is the return of his property.
That would indeed be very sad if that were the case.
