Are there still spots open? Les has asked me if I want to drive form Colorado Springs to TN with him and another guy. It appears that there's a real chance of getting a genuine Russian boar and that imterests me.

Yep - Just tell Steve or I which list to put you on. I suspect some will drop and some will commit by next month when the deposits are due so all are welcome. Allen Lists? What is the due date for deposits? Do we send them to Wilderness Lodge?

Deposits are due the first week of January, and should be sent to the Wilderness Lodge. Put 24HCF on the check and include your handle so we can keep track of who has sent in the deposits.

It's somewhat hard to tell, but it looks like about half of the hunters going on the Boar Hunt will be first- timers at a Campfire function. And I think that is a very good thing.
Looking forward to meeting the newbies, and re-connecting with the vets.

It's sad; I've been going to school since I quit my job at the Brazos County Sheriff's Office. This Boar Hunt has me more jazzed than anything since I quit in 1999 besides play time with my bride.
In some cases I'll get to meet and talk to people I've been "chatting" with for 10 years. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas.
I could bring a pocket full of rocks to throw at the boars; I am so looking forward to the camaradrie of a group of like-minded MEN.

Just ordered a new Mathews so that will make it official I'll be hunting with my new bow Best bows on the market. Absolutely as silent and vibration free as a compound bow can be made.
