Most of the posters on the Fire lie to themselves all the time. This is the reason they are so frustrated. They have lived a lie for so long they can no longer recognize Truth.
They tend to view the world today as they had hoped for and wished it would turn out. They can't accept the fact that their prior actions led to what we have today. The fault always lays at another persons doorstep.
Tomorrow at the Christmas Dinner Table they will once again tell a big fat lie to to their families and friends all the while keeping a straight face and smirking under the cover of napkin over their mouths.

You will not find a direct quote, rather Brian's tone and a combination of things posted in a particular thread, led Scott to draw this conclusion, that is not far fetched. I believe that is Scott's interpretation...
