rockchucker, i'll be coming east bound on I-40 from Memphis burning right thru Nashville on the way to camp, will be glad to stop.

Let me know when, where, and how many, got a big 4-door dually with plenty of room.

FYI, Those coming from the West or North or South I-40, I-24, I-65 there's a BassPro in N'ville that's easily accessible, if you need anything hunting related.

Those coming from the East, there's a BassPro on I-40 East of Knoxville at the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg exit. Easy access off of I-40.

Those coming South or North on I-75, there's a Dick's and others in Knoxville.


If you need other items, alcohol, food items, etc. Once you get on I-40E towards Monterey, Cookeville is the last town you'll pass that has a good selection of stores. Cookeville has a local gun/hunting/fishing store called "Cookeville Outdoors" if they haven't changed the name or sold out.

If your going West on I-40, Crossville is the last town that has much.

Monterey is a nice little place, but other then a couple a 24hr convenience stores, small grocery, not much. They did have a nice little diner called the "Cup & Saucer". There was a Bar-Be-Que place, but don't know if their still in business. The sidewalks roll up early in the evening.

If my opponent is any thing other than another man who wants to put me in my place, then it gets to be knocked out by 375 grains of copper at about 1900 fps.

That's good because my FIL boxed a kangaroo at a carnival in Blytheville Arkansas Purse was a $100... He hit that kangaroo so hard it would of knocked three men out... All the Kangaroo did was tilt its ears back,stare him in his face, leaned back on it's tail and kicked him straight through the ropes.

He thought he popped both lungs and broke all of his ribs.

With a pistol he might of had a different outcome!

I ain't playin' hero against a Kangaroo; I've seen plenty of examples of the power they have when they sit back on that tail and pound whatever is in front of them with those incredibly powerful legs. I'd have as much of a chance at knocking out a Kangaroo as I would outrunning a Cheetah in the 100 meter dash!
