I've got a knife on order to be built and would like something other than the standard looking mosaics for pins. All the builder has in stock are these standard mosaic pins. A plain stainless pin would be okay, but I'm thinking of something a bit different. Somewhere I saw a knife that had pins that had a star sorta like a lone star. I liked it and need to find where I can latch onto something like this.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm on a bit of a short time line, a couple weeks.

Thanks.

I kinda like a bladesmith that can make his own mosaic pins. Most seem to just buy them from the knife supply company.

you might check Jantz and Texas knife maker's supply houses. You can see hundreds of mosaic pins for sale.
Choose one you like, and either buy it and hand it to the blade maker, or tell him which one you want.
Should be able to get the material in your guy's hands within a few days.
