Norman survival kit. Drink all the Calvados, and then when we find you unconscious, we can mash up the power bars and feed you through with the syringe. I expect a tasting report pronto... Hatari Hootch is made in this tradition. Distilled from fermented apples and pears, aged in oak (however briefly)and bottled exclusively for the 24HCF Hogfest. I want all you intrepid hunters with Vikings in your soul and hair on your ass to grab glass and enjoy. Neat or on the rocks, it matters not. Sip it, swirl a bit around in your mouth, and deliberate on the taste sensations you get. Some you may find:

Think we will have some falling into the fire again now for sure!!! I think we best ration the Hooch given to the cooks. No telling what sorta spices would wind up in play.  Knew one guy once who owned a spice company and was a hot sauce connoissueur. He got lit and started cooking one night in camp, throwing all manner of hot sauce in the chili. The rest of us passed on dinner. Most of the next morning, the cook and the one guy who ate his cooking had the chits on top of hangovers. I think one of them fell in a fire once, too...
