Yeah, I might have to start thinking about sending that B/A to Eddie for a Cerakote job.

Here's a Winchester 70 Heavy Varmint in .223 Rem. with an A5 McMillan in Campfire Camo. I'm liking that also. Any idea on what that weighs? I'm torn between what McMillan stock to get for a new FN M70 coyote light that I am picking up this week. I was thinking a Classic stock but now something in the A-series has me thinking!

Here's a Winchester 70 Heavy Varmint in .223 Rem. with an A5 McMillan in Campfire Camo. Is Campfire camo the same as McMillan camo? It's hard to tell going by the pic on the McMillan site.

The McCamo and Campfire are different... Can you be more specific? Colors? Pattern? Both?

Have not held the McCamo in real life, but in pics the color pattern looks to be smaller. Not sure on the actual color selection used though. I believe the Campfire camo is simply GAP with the addition of one other color.

If I recall correctly, Campfire Camo contains black, woodland beige (which is the light greenish tone), olive green and tan.
On the Model 70 Varmint...somebody asked about the weight. I'm not sure on the exact weight...guessing 12-13 pounds. The barrel is .950 inch or so at the muzzle and 26 inches long. The scope rail and rings are Badger Ordnance. Scope is a Leupold 4.5-14, and rifle has been pillar bedded into Marine-Tex. It also has the Williams Firearms Co. bottom metal.
It slings a few bullets into .5 inch five round groups at 100 yards and 1.3 inches at 300, but its favorite is 69 gr. Sierra Match Kings ahead of 24.5 grs. of Varget or Reloder 15 for 2910 ft/sec. They can go faster, but this is the accuracy node for this rifle.

Anybody have a pic of the Rhino camo? Yeah, I'm curious as to the Rhino, and the Coffee Camo as well. Wonder how the Copperhead Camo compares to the Coffee?

In a shocking development, when I looked on McMillan's website, I saw both of the patterns I was looking for. I kinda like both of them. Might have to order up a couple of A-somethings to try them out.
