They are manufactured by General Dynamics.
Olin used to own the St. Marks, FL, facility where they are manufactured, but spun that asset off in the '90s. It was called Primex at that time, but it wasn't long at all before General Dynamics bought it up. General Dynamics also owns the Canadian facility that manufactures most (but not all) IMR powders.

In any case, they can use the same loading data and require magnum primers for best results, especially in cold weather.

interthem, I think you are wrong again. H414 and WW760 are the same powder but after shooting pounds of it through the chronograph in several different rifle's it shoots much more consistant with lower S.D.'s and E.S. with Fed 210's than Fed 215's in every case. It is temp sensitive being a ball powder but a mag primer does not fix that it only makes it worse.

Sorry just saw this I use 55.5 grains of H414 with Winchester brass and Winchester LG Primers at 3.230. This has worked great in two ADL's I have shot it in.

I use H414 for my 257 roberts and have used it in 270. 6.5x55, 243. It is comparable to 4350 in application. Dingo I am pretty sure you are correct on the 414/760 part but I was under the impression that H335 was faster than 748.

Magnum primers really screw up the accuracy of 760 in many cases, you just have to try your combo and see what works.
In 22/250's, 243's I shot Fed 210's. In 243 AI's, I shot CCI250's.
What ever works

I'm told H414 is rebadged W760 and H335 is rebadged W748
H 335 isn't W 748...

I use 52.5 gr H414 with a 75 gr V-max for my .25-06 varmint load. My rifle seems to like that load. Prairie dogs...not so much.

Excellent performer with the 50gr Vmax/22-250. Max or near max load gave me consistent groups in the .4's out of a Broughton HB 700 Rem
