Damn Vince, you know how to hurt a guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful. I'm in a cunundrum over the Charlie May's, the Ingram's and a few others. I'm thinking of a combo set at this time. However, your posts are getting me more fickle over which one or two.

I really like that sambar horn...did you provide that or did Charlie? It is professionally pressure dyed, genuine India Sambar stag. I set Charlie up with some. Its handsome looking stag for sure. I might keep that knife there.Charlie said it was one of the nicest stag knives he'd ever done.

Thanks for the info! The India Sambar stag,at present,is a more rare handle material, than Elephant or mammoth Ivory. The exportation of it ceased on the yr. 2000,and was opened up in 2005 for one year only, and closed again. It was closed due to corruption & probably will not open up again. So what is here in this country is out of stocks that are already imported. Go on a big knife supply site such as "Alpha knife Supply" and check prices & size ranges. The reality is that there might not be the size of the stag avail.,for your knife handle. If there is,it's pricy, and the "look" of the knife is limited, since stag, naturally is never a perfect match. A lot of custom makers do not bother with stag that much any longer because it is not naturally matched, ever. Collectors want "matched" sides,no such thing with stag.So its costly to work it & to get a very good match. It is very hard to get a lot of people to realize this. But when ordering an India Sambar stag knife from a custom builder, these days,it neds to be realized.

I'm surprised there's no interest,it seems,in this mid skinner. It is a fantastic knife.
