Just bought myself a Model 6904 Smith "Pig Slayer". Thinking I'll find me a big one and taunt it to a charge and give it one to the forehead about 15 or so feet away....  That is where you shoot a hog isn't it?

If any of you gentlemen stop at any ammo places along your travels and you come across some Winchester Supreme 41 Remington Magnum 240 Grain Platinum Tip Hollow Points,please grab two boxes for me. I'll either give you cash at camp or you can call me on cell and I'll pay by debit or cc while you're there.
I have 4 left,which is enough for 4 big boars,of course,but just in case the sun is in my eyes,I could use the extra.
Thanks in advance. I can't get them to me before the 17th. If you find them by a store that can get them shipped to me by Monday,I'll take care of it that way.

Thanks Bobby. Yes,I'm sure they're 240 grain. If they only have 210 in the PTHP,I'll happily settle for that.

They're in Rochester and they carry the 41Mag ammo I use. I'll call them and just have them send it to the lodge. Too late for me to get it here before I roll south.

I've shot the S&W 500...once. Bring that Ruger480 though,if you have room. I've not seen it and would like to have a look at it and fire off a round,if ok by you.
I love my S&W 44 mag mtn. gun but that is one loud,obnoxious little revolver when just pulling the sight-in trigger.

Hey Guys,
I'll be leaving for the Wilderness on Tuesday morning and arrive there that afternoon. I want to check things out to make sure we are good to go on Wednesday when everyone arrives.
If you need to reach me from Tuesday on, my cell # is 301-509-3905. Cell phone service in that area is spotty at best. I do know that it works well if you stand right in front of the lodge where we are going to stay. So I'll go by there periodically to check for messages.
Before Tuesday, you can just PM me or Pugs or Bob.
Remember to bring your blaze orange stuff, and don't forget the blue tape.
