WWI uniform...guys were smaller back then, but a hell of a lot tougher than most today. You probably didn't mess with Frank much...made a fierce friend and a fierce enemy. My hunting partner likes to refer to his size as being "built to old world standards"  The word "billings" is written in pencil on the back of the photo also so there is a possible connection to the west side of the country Gary.

A unusual addition to the collection arrived today. Thanks for the pictures Gary. My grandmother had an old
black & white photo in her study of my grandfather and
two of his brothers standing over three whitetail bucks.
One man had a 99 the other two had Krags, it was taken in
1920s or earlier, and I believe the 99 was a 303. Of course
the picture disappeared after she passed, sure wish I had it.
