I dunno', bud. I'm thinking something different. Maybe a katana, or a pole axe or something.

Also, I want to be more involved next time. The 'wheelbarrow' guy looks like a position I could sink my teeth into!

Maybe something with a bayonet? grin

definitely have to take something interesting next year. The Kimber worked very efficiently, and would have been the go-to choice in the rain, but three scoped rifles was overkill for me smile

Hmm. I'm pretty thin on the pointy thing on the end of the barrel in the collection, but I guess I could bring the one I do have. It came mounted on a wicked snazzy rifle I bought years ago. You've probably never heard of it, though. Real high end import type stuff is not for everyone (no offense).

It's called the SKS, made by some fancy company named Norinco. And no it's not for sale!

I'm thinking a .14 Velo Dog AI would be just the ticket!

Always kinda wanted a trapdoor Springfield, even though the action demands caution in loading. Their bayonets were almost as long as katanas, IIRC grin

I'd love to see the look on the guide's face when I get out of the truck, and affix a bayonet grin

Somewhere in the back of my mind (I know, it's a small place grin ) I recall someone necking down a .22lr to either .14 or .12 caliber...not sure what for, but it would be fun to shoot!

Whoops!

I planned to post a new thread today re the 2013 Boar Hunt. I have asked Rick for a sticky, and have not heard from him.

I'll post when I get the sticky.

Good Deal. No more rifles for hogs for me , it will be back to Pistol or Bow the next time.
