A couple - I don't really do the camera thing. Yam Timberwolf, modified a little to carry more wood than they've said I should. My son - out on the bay 2 years ago on a friends Wellcraft. On the bay - heading in at the end of a party day on Longtail

I love that snake picture.
I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

I don't usually participate in these because a lack of uploaded photos. But I have a few to share! No pro quality pics like many of you, just honest snapshots where the subject means more than the quality. First, my faithful crew - first time in a canoe for the little ones. My oldest on the right and her best friend on the left. A pair of 23" walleyes. The full catch of two hours of fishing. Nice smallie from NE SD Pig rockbass from the same lake First shorefishing trip of 2012 - first kitty, bigger than the angle looks. That angel turned 7 today - Golden Birthday! My oldest with her elusive "river carp" My first bird dog, Lucy, pure weimaraner, 9 weeks old in 2008. Beagle is a small 25 lb. dog. She was so small and cute... And here she is with her first successful point, shoot, and retrieve. After that experience it was like turning on a light switch - she's a pheasant machine now! My silver beauty crashed out on the back seat of our Bonneville. She's gone from a cute puppy to a beautiful 70 lb. running, sniffing, hunting machine. Not to mention a great family/house dog. Off-season entertainment - backyard squirrels She crosses over and hunt squirrels too. And retrieves them for me as well. She's a little harder on the squirrels than birds - soft mouth on birds, but she caught a squirrel once that bit her on the nose. She has to give them a healthy shake before she brings them in. That's all for now!

Started a new hobby of building guitars. It's always been hard for me to find one with the exact features that I want. So, I went with, "If you want it done right, do it yourself." So, here's my DIY Stratocaster. It's pieces of 4 different guitars. Next weekend, I'm starting on a DIY Telecaster.

THOMASMAGNUM; Thanks so much for starting this visual feast for us sir and of course a heart felt thank you to those folks who have contributed to make it so. To me, threads like this are the 'Fire at its finest or close to it anyway. This is the view from a low mountain which is about a 10 minute walk east of our yard - looking south onto Vaseaux Lake. Our eldest and I came back from cutting firewood to find a tense standoff in our yard.. Our eldest watching the sunset from north Kehei. Coming down from a hunt off of the mountain to the east of our place. We're a little less than 5km from home here. Our youngest watching her sister dancing on the sand and of course the sunset as well from Kehei. This is a personal favorite of mine in that it was our first family trip to someplace tropical. We all enjoyed every moment spent on that trip to Oahu. A more "normal" destination for our crew - taken on a jet boat trip up the Green River south of Pemberton, BC. [img:center] http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x83/BC30cal/Familyonjetboat-2.jpg[/img] Thank you all for looking at my contributions and again thanks to all who have shared photographic moments of your lives with us. Happy Easter one and all, may the best of God's blessing be with you and yours. Regards, Dwayne
