Any chance that was at the Current Creek Lodge, Utah? If not, they had a similar display before the place was destroyed.

This is in the Elko, NV museum. The story I heard is it was on Pearl Peak til brought down by helicopter.

16 years to draw the tag and 18 months to eat him. This is the last package...

I carried a print of that pic around in my wallet for a long time, Leighton. For a lot of years there whenever life seemed a bit overwhelming I'd take that pic out and before long I'd be smiling, sometimes even laughing.

In my mind's eye I can see Abby squatting next to her fish on the gravel beach with a rock twice the size of her fist in her hand, just beatin' the bejabbers outta that dead trout... cracks me up to think of it every time.

BTW, all of those trouts was caught on the dry fly... Adams Irresistible, IIRC. I cast 'em out, let the kids twitch & wiggle 'em, and the rest was history.

Thanks. Love those kids. Just got back from turkey hunting with the boy. Saw a couple but no blood yet.

1st one took 11 years to draw...2nd one took 14 (because of the 5 year wait)..working on #3

old dugout cabin which is cared for by the owner...

Met an old gentleman that spent a few nights sitting out a blizzard in in this a a teenager...

One of my favorite trips for the past 2 summers has been to an event called the Splash In in Grand Marais, MI. These pictures were all taken there over the last 2 years.


This pilot put on quite an entertaining show before the show with his Piper Super Cub.
