Since potatoes and corn are NOT on my diet I cannot say what my favorite would be. No potatoes? No corn? Are you on suicide watch? Mother, Father and sister all diabetic, so is wife. I am following her diet that has her blood sugar under control. No insurance for fancy medications and I don't want to loose her. So, in reality I am thrilled to be following a healthy diet.

Krunchers/kettle chips.
Have to put a "serving" in a little bowl, or it'll be trouble.

Golden Flake, made in Birmingtown, Ala. Get a bag of those, some Alabama barbecue, and a Grapico and the world is a beautiful place. Preach it, brother!!! No chip has ever been better than Golden Flake. Had some big surprises as far as food goes when we moved up here to NC. There was no Golden Flake, no Grapico, no Buffalo Rock, and no barbecue that deserves the name

Don't buy tater chips too often, but these are pretty decent local fare. Don't know why but this thread has given me a hankering for vinegar and salt chips, haven't had any in years. I guess I'm more of a tortilla chip, salsa and guac kind guy.

Oh, I forgot. Crunchy Cheetos when the bag has been left open for a couple of days and they get a little hard/soggy.

Mrs. Mike's (Freeport, IL) made with sunflower seed oil or somethin similar, not vegetable oil. Recipe hasn't changed in 40 years (longer than I've been around) and we used to ship them to my grandfather in FL when he was alive.
Also, Old Salty's Potato Chips
It's about like this:
"Do you puff peters?"
"Hell no!"
"NAZI!!!"
