I just acquired a model 20/26 that is drilled and tapped for a side mount (4 holes) could someone tell me what mounts where used for this gun. Thanks John
Probably an older Weaver, but could too be a Pachmayr. I don't know the model but you might find it in in Nick Strobel's book on old scopes. On second thought, I doubt Pachmayr ever made a mount for the 20.

I think the Weaver "Side Mount" with a #1 base (for 1" scope) might work. I don't think the "N" mount (3/4" scope) will work. Note: the upper part of the bolt handle might hit the scope when open if it has not been altered already.
