Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I have to agree with this.

However, I will say that when it comes to gun dogs and beauty, nothing challenges the supremacy of the English Setter.

Thank you. I love photographing pointing dog's. I was at the Wirehair of Central Oregon Club trial this past weekend and got a shot I might never get again. Dan Hoke, Wash pro, had a dog on point in the call back. Very nice shorthair. First frame was the dog alone pointing. second was Dan flushing and the bird clears the sage and is in the photo too. The last frame, the gunner shoot's the bird, you can see it's legs drop, and Dan and his dog are in that same frame. This past spring I got two Britt's about 30yds off the break away. One was coming right at me. Just as I shot, the other dog came in from my left and both were air borne. I shot the photo and fell back and both dog's went over the sage and landed right next to me.

God are those ugly dog's ugly! No need to thank me. lol Who ever got that ugly dog thing started anyway? Funny but guy's that have them seem to take pride in the term ugly dog. Of course if I had one, so would I!

Brother in law helping his dog Cain over the fence, he's been hit by the electric fence on the farm one too many times, refuses to cross any fence at all. As you can tell, nobody cut my brother in law any slack for this-

This is Jake he was my baby, I lost him in a divorce. I still miss him.



And after a hard day of hunting there is nothing like kicking back and relaxing in camp.

I could take losing the Mrs.---- but never my bird dog.

Stinkin ole hound, but he likes the gun too!

Beagle/Blue Tick? He looks like he takes it seriously too.

My late goofy looking Llewellin, Gus. He never grew into his head, but he was all Class.

He is a bluetick beagle.

Now...I like that dog. He has a serious varmity eye.
