it's all about algorithms. they know x% voted, x% voted this way and that way last time and they run the numbers. Prob also depends on just where those reported results come in and by what margin. If RR wins a county by 2% but should have won it by 20% and that's the only result that came in - they believe he/they aren't going to carry the state.

The very first hard look you need to take is at the largest demographic recipients of state largesse. White females. Yeah, there are larger percentages in groups, but white females have the highest absolute numbers. They LOVE Obamacare. They love anything and everything that allows them to breed and live without responsibility (in general. There are exceptions). You would do well to keep this in mind.

(It's not certain who said it first, but it's true nonetheless). In most basic terms, democracy is nothing more than 2 wolves and 1 sheep voting on what's for dinner.
